Helimbrar
and Sar
These peaks rise
north of Waterdeep, guarding that city from the winds of the North. Mounts Sar
and Helimbrar are named for two great fomorian giants who lived in the mountains
until slain by early warlords of Waterdeep. They’re said to harbor stone
giants and more fearsome menaces, and travelers also report seeing sylphs on the
high ledges and side peaks.
