Also
known as the Trollmoors, this barren, upland area still shows the scars of the
huge bonfires set to burn the corpses of the trolls, or "everlasting ones," that
once roamed here in hordes. Trolls still lurk in the hills and bogs, but not in
vast numbers as of old.
