Introduction - this is the scene from the Inn in Neverwinter where Yvandel first introduced himself and his puppet to those who didn't know him.

Yvandel looked at the group he was sharing the table in the inn with. He knew some of them personally, some only by their face.

'Friends, as we will be spending a lot of time together in the near future, I would like to introduce you all two my two favorite puppets, Volo and Dolo.' Yvandel reached for the puppet on his shoulder and put it on his right arm. He then turned his attention back to the group in front of him.

'Dolo, meet your new friends,' Yvandel said to the puppet on his arm, and almost instantly the puppet opened its mouth and started talking.

(DOLO) 'Hello new friends. I am Dolo,' the puppet said and raised it's black and white left arm. 'I am the wisest of the two, and also the more mature one. You can come to me with any questions you might have, I will always try to give you the best possible answer.' The puppet lowered its arm back down and immediately the brightly coloured right arm went up in the air.
(VOLO) 'I have a question for you Dolo...how come your
colours are all gone? Did something scare them out of you?' The puppet laughed aloud. 'Ha, silly Dolo. Well, let me introduce myself properly to you all, 'new friends'. I'm Volo, and no matter what Dolo says, you will find that I am the one to come to. I won't have any fancy riddles like Dolo likes to play on people, but I can always bring a smile to your face. If I have to tickle you to do so, I will.' The puppet's right eye winked, at nobody in particular.  'Now, has anybody here heard the joke about the farmer who ran out of milk? No, well, let me...'
(DOLO) 'Volo, will you finally shut up? We just met
these people, and already you would try to ruin everything by telling one of your tasteless jokes. Master Yvandel, please tell Volo to keep quiet for a while. My head hurts and his chatter will only make it worse.'

Yvandel rubbed his chin with his left arm.  'Well, if my memory serves me right Dolo, the last time that Volo asked YOU to stop talking you didn't really listen to him, did you? Don't get me wrong, your subject was very interesting. I never knew what the weight of one little grain of sand was. Yet, even though Volo told you he was getting itchy because of your story, you continued talking. But fine, since we're all pretty tired and since these fine friends are not yet prepared for the two of you, I will ask Volo to stop his babbling for now.'

(VOLO) 'But I'm not finished yet with my joke...'

Yvandel turned his head and looked right in the puppets eyes. 'Volo, I think your joke is very funny, but these people around the table need to rest. We will need our strenght in the coming days, and lots of it. Maybe you can tell your joke another time?'

(VOLO) 'Oh, alright. I will do as you say. But next time that silly Dolo starts talking about the weight of a leaf or whatever, you have to do the same thing to him. I just can't stand it when he does that.'

Yvandel laughed and nodded his head.

'Alright Volo, I promise you that next time when Dolo gets in his lecture mode, I will ask him the same thing I asked you now.'

Yvandel turned to his audience, sitting around the table. 'If any of you have any questions to these two rascals, please feel free to ask them. My two friends will need to go to bed soon, as I can tell by their weight that they are heavy with sleep.'
