MODULE ZERO
- Introductions
MODULE ONE
- Silverymoon - "Out of the Frying Pan, into the Fire"
- Party commissioned by Gaard (along with several other parties)
to take blue stones from Neverwinter to Silverymoon. Stones later turn
out to be fairly worthless Chalcedony from Vassa – seemingly nothing
special. Gaard also later turns up dead, drained of blood. Their party was
the only one to survive the journey. All a big Mystery!
- On route to Silverymoon, party get kidnapped by Ogre-mage led orcs, and
learn about ancient Netherese prophesy that involves a barbarian lass named
Soggrin – her son would regain the power of the ancient
Netherese. Xred (the mad Ogre-mage) had stolen Soggrin (and
her Zhent guards Von Fedel and Blondung)
from Manshoon in a futile attempt to take advantage of his
own interpretation of the prophesy. The party escape when the local banshee
named Agatha comes wailing, killing Xred and his orcs. They survive
through the actions of the slightly mad Von Fedel.
- In Triboar, they are joined by new PCs – Larz and Merrell, also on
route to Silverymoon. Blue stones are stolen by a halfling thief. Von Fedel
again saves the group by raising zombies to help defeat some bandits.
- When recovering the blue stones, the party stumble across hidden temple
to Gargauth, defeat evil priest and his hob-goblin allies.
Von Fedel proves himself to be both evil and mad and leaves the group, only
to follow and continue to secretly help save their lives when they are later
attacked by barbarians.
- Manshoon turns up on his dragon, and takes Soggrin back. Von Fedel reappears,
wanting to rejoin the Zhentarim, but Manshoon snubs him and leaves. Some Dragon
Cultists turn up (having seen the dragon). They pump the party for
info, and then try to kill them. The party are saved by the sudden appearance
of some strange draconian type weird creatures - that silently kill the cultists,
take one of their rings and then leave. Another big mystery!
- At Nesmé, group take experimental gnome boat up-river towards Silverymoon.
Attack by a "sea-monster" wrecks boat and strands them on the trollmoors.
Fleeing ambush by vengance seeking barbarians, party stumble across lost dwarf-hold
and vow to return to it to plunder it.
- Party continue to Silverymoon, where they find the truth about the blue
stones. Balnor leaves party, and the party go back to Kheizar Dalan along
with Larz’s cousin Dorn and the Luckbringer Vaslin to loot it. They
discover it’s downfall was due to the dwarves having been corrupted
by Gargauth centuries before. Coincidence? Party defeat undead Gargauth
priest named Torus and his undead zombies and skeletons. They also encounter
a dragon ghost that commands them to wreak its revenge on Sammasster.
Another Mystery! - Who is Sammasster?
MODULE TWO
- Moonwood
- Back in Silverymoon, party awake a few days later to find themselves with
the sigylls on their arms and a desire to head north… Lady Alustriel
tells them that the first of the sigylls is that of a reclusive mage called
Ssessibil Istahvar who lives in the Lonely Tower, north east
of the Moonwood. The second is of a wizardess named Gwath…
(no location known).
- The party resist the sigylls and head for the Herald’s Holdfast to
do some research… They find Von Fedel’s “lair” (he
had left the party earlier, and had been dogging their steps ever since),
and fail to kill him, but do manage to kill his charmed Halfling side-kick.
Serena dies. Milo and Blondung spend some time in the Herald’s Holdfast
and learn some extra bits about the Sigylls
- The party head off for Quaervarr and decide to go through the Moonwood
rather than around it on their journey towards the Lonely Tower. They hear
about “the People of the Black Blood” – a group of Malarites
and werewolves.
- In the Moonwood, the party find an island, on which they recover the Mask
of Nabanion - an anti-Malar artifact. They also encounter the Malrite Werewolves
and, with the help of the Mask, defeat them. They meet the Suddersbedr
and eventually exit the woods.
- They exit the Moonwood and arrive at near to the Lonely Tower, where they
meet Ssessibil's Knights of the Tantram Lion, and then subsequently meet Ssessibil
himself at Beorunna's Well, where he appears to be a powerful priest of Torm.
His sigyll disappears from their arms! They find out more info about the other
sigylls - Gwath (necromancer of the Zhentarim and double
agent of the Dragon Cult who operates from a secret dungeon somewhere in Daggerdale),
Xarth Kistar (a priest of Bane in Zhentil Keep as well as
triple agent of the Dragon Cult), Azimer (an insane lich
who abides in the ruins of the 6 Tyryl Towers school of magic in Myth Drannor),
Harbet Gall (a renegade high priest of Malar the Beastlord
who also was and perhaps still is a Keeper of the Secret Hoard with the Dragon
Cult and can be found in the Great Dale). The last symbol he didn't recognise.
He also did a divination for the party.
MODULE THREE

- Not being pressured by the sigils for a change, the party pass through Citadel
Felbarr, where they vollenteer to help kill an undead beastie in the dungeons

on route.
