Harthar is a man of about 50 years, hair slightly greying and his leathery skin weathered from spending a lot of time out of doors. He is well known in Neverwinter as a respected runner - running errands and messages for people ranging from merchants to craftsmen, council officials to wizards. He is simply a go-between.

Gaard is also known to the PCs, although only by name. He is a wizard of some might, rumoured to be a member of the Harpers.

Gavert Surkh

25th of Mirtul, midday at the Caravan staging field in Neverwinter.

Gavert is a male human, 6' & 2" with a muscled build. He has the height of a northman, but his face and skin show him up as a foreigner. He is a braggart, always coming up with some story of his bravery or skill. He has a longsword at his side, and is dressed in chain mail.

Lise Kampfwut

25th of Mirtul, midday at the Caravan staging field in Neverwinter.

Lise is a male human, 6' & 8" and very well built. His hair is jet black, short & curly, usually compressed into his half helm. He laughs a lot, usually at his own poor and usually bad-taste jokes. He is surrounded by a plethora of different weapons, most of the hack and slash type! Dressed in chain mail. Probably of northman decent.

Kibbit Gudarn

25th of Mirtul, midday at the Caravan staging field in Neverwinter.

Kibbet is a male human, who is 5' & 1" with a slim build. It is difficult to place his heritage, which therefore makes him a foreigner. His preference is for missile weapons, and he has numerous daggers around his body. He treats the PCs condescendingly, always trying to teach them to suck eggs so to speak!

The Battleaxe Transport

25th of Mirtul, 1:30pm at the Caravan staging field in Neverwinter.

Lead by Gildung Orccleaver, leading 10 other dwarves. Sour and close mouthed, Gildung grudgingly would have accepted the party if they had chosen them to go with the dwarves.

Gildung Orccleaver

25th of Mirtul, 1:30pm at the Caravan staging field in Neverwinter.

A dour stern dwarf, Gildung is the leader of The Battleaxe Transport. He looks like an experienced veteran, and was not too sorry to avoid the job of babysitting the PCs.

25th of Mirtul, 1:00pm at the Caravan staging field in Neverwinter.

Minnerl is a wealthy looking middle aged man dressed in fine clothing, and has an ornate staff in his hand. Although he has the height of a northman, his facial features place him as a foreigner to these parts. He sold the Staff of Fireball to the group.

Xred (Ogre Mage)

27th of Mirtul, late afternoon in the Orc camp.

Xred is a strange looking ogre, nutty as a fruit-cake it appears. Apparently, he used to work with Manshoon (the infamous leader of the Zhentaruim) and kidnapped Söggrin away from him - all because of some ancient Netherese prophesy (see Söggrin below). Xred also thinks that having a load of ground Schoellweed seeds will help with this prophesy, but that the magical properties of these seeds will only be released if they are ground by humans. Hence he has kidnapped the PCs.

27th of Mirtul, late afternoon in the Orc camp

Grazzght is an elderly orc, who was in charge of giving the PCs their first "lesson" in discipline - a flogging till unconscious.

Söggrin

28th of Mirtul, early morning after recovering from the flogging of the day before - in the cave in the Orc camp.

Söggrin is the daughter of some important warrior of the Black Raven tribe of the Uthgardt Barbarians. Apparently, according to some ancient Netherese prophesy, her son, yet to be born, will be the inheritor of all the power of the Netherese mages (Ancient VERY powerful race of magic users - now all dead). She was kidnapped from her tribe several months ago by Manshoon (the infamous leader of the Zhentaruim), so he could mate with her on Midsummer night next year. Xred has kidnapped her and believes that he will mate with her on Midsummer night THIS year.

Her full name is "Soggrin A' Sheera Fal" - which apparently means "The Flower of the Fire Walker".

Von Fedel

28th of Mirtul, early morning after recovering from the flogging of the day before - in the cave in the Orc camp.

Von Fedel is the slightly loony Zhentarium priest of Cyric who was set by Manshoon to guard Söggrin. When Xred kidnapped her, he kidnapped Von Fedel and Blondung as well so they could help grind the very hard Schoellweed seeds.

He left the party at the Sprite's Refuge - stalking out into the storm after Balnor accused him of "playing" with Cleo's dead cat. (Animating it).

Blondung

28th of Mirtul, early morning after recovering from the flogging of the day before - in the cave in the Orc camp.

Blondung is the cynical Zhentarium mage who was set by Manshoon to guard Söggrin. When Xred kidnapped her, he kidnapped Von Fedel and Blondung as well so they could help grind the very hard Schoellweed seeds.

Blondung has renounced the Zhentarium and declared that he has no intention of re-joining them. All he wants to do is get to Silverymoon and lose himself in the city.
